Let the red water shower from my wrists-

Let this never-ending story of trite and tried things finally fade.

The curtains fall on a shadowed stage

behind the scenes a sad song plays.

Today was one of the first days I’ve felt like cutting in months. I was hoping this would just go away.

What promised to be a reprieve from the needless bickering of the day has ended precariously teetering between it all falling down & it all being magically blown under the rug. I imagine this is the closest I’ll get tonight to quorum or resolution.

Even the closest people in my life couldn’t stand our combined presence.

Tort jabs merely widen the divide that has miraculously grown between our warring tribes.

Seriously who goes to a family outting to the park to be miserable? How can one bask in the glow of the new spring sun and new little laughs yet still carry our misery in tow?

I’m at a loss. But then again when it comes to you I always loose.

Drinking a jack n’ coke with Gentleman’s Jack with a fellow kindle nerd- reading and enjoying intelligent conversation, a little something something, and this beautiful second day of Spring.

I am leaving nonsense behind me today. I’m standing guard over my fortune and over my future.

I find myself here in our home lost and alone. You’ve made me turn my back on both my friends and colleagues alike. You forced them out of my life like lepers. Claiming there wasn’t enough respect in their hearts while Heralding a new day where new allies will find my borders.

You are the ever-present judge, jury and executioner.

But what happens when war comes between us? When I can no longer turn to you? Who can stand against the one-they-love’s fury alone?

I can’t and now I have no where and no one to help me keep my head up high…
